To start it off, was at Wembley on Sat and my mate was a bit peckish. Of he to one of the Burger stalls near entrance P and comes back with a thing that was about 6 inches tall.

Intrigued i asked him how much and nearly chocked when he said FOURTEEN POUNDS

Wish i had taken a picure

$295 excl tax ... serendipity 3 le burger extravagant ... Guiness most expensive world record burger

Has it on the day before we got married in New York 4-5yrs ago.

Way too rich for me in the ingredients. You have to give them a couple of days notice you want it so they ready the ingredients etc. But there wasn’t a shortage of people asking about them and having them when I had it. No idea if they still do it.

37 swiss francs in 2011 in Geneva. Fries were included but ketchup for the fries was not. Probably the most expensive place for meals out I have been to (6 months working there in 2011 and expense bills were huge)

Most I have paid for a buger was £35 for the burger and chips. The burger was broiche bun, meat and then lobster claw and lobster meat.

Overheard in Zurich, an elderly American couple, and him saying to her, "you said coming to Europe would open up new experiences and boy were you right, I've just eaten my first $50 burger."

$295!!! Jesus wept...

And I grumble vociferously at the cost of Five Guys.... I went to the one in Antwerp a few weeks ago and nearly choked at the €19 price tag.... and that included fries and a drink and as many peanuts as I could eat.....

I've just Googled it, for the money it looks extremely underwhelming, that burger with foi gras in the post above yours looks far better.

Finding a place to eat for less than $50 in central Geneva is a real challenge. I thankfully was not the most senior person on the project so rarely paid for dinners and breakfasts I would go to the local sandwich shop rather than pay 35 swiss francs at the swisshotel

Globus is pretty good as well. There are a few basic but good sushi places that don’t break the bank as well.

$30 at the radisson in freetown, sierra leone. Probably had a couple of dozen of them during my time there largely due to lack of other options, maybe $3 worth if i’m being kind.

I paid, I think, 35 Swiss Franks for one last week at the cafe outside the train station in Oerlikon.

About £20 I think for a Waggu beef burger at one of the restaurants in Selfridges in London. It was very good to be honest and worth the money. I have no issue paying for food as long as it’s good

30-35ish CHF in Geneva this year when I went to the motor show before skiing. Wanted to see central Geneva, but no rush to go back. Nice place, nice cars, just expensive.
