Looking at wedge prices and then looking at early Chim prices.

Is this a meeting of overpriced meets underpriced or what?

I'm getting a bit concerned about the prices that some owners have been selling their Chimaeras for recently. Especially as the good weather is just around the corner.

If this continues, my '94 M will have a book value of sub £10k

Yep... Chims dropped drastically......

Frightening actually..... I hope it does not spread to the other models

Think it's simply supply and demand - lots more Chims about than Wedges...

I think Wedge prices have sort of settled at a base level with only good examples of 400SE, 420SE and 450SE up around the lowest Chimaera money. Recently sold a 40k mile 350 Wedge for under 6k - dont think you will find Chimaera for that sort of money for a while! (remember some CHimps are now 13 years old whilst some 400 series Wedges are only 14 years old)

PS yep Underprced Wedges meet overpriced Chimaeras!!!!

a good 350SE or 400SE is about £6,500 to buy whereas a Chim (same cc but 4 years younger) is about 50% more. I would like to think that wedges are underpriced but tend to think that Chimps will drop at least 20%.
