Can I pay Pcp balloon by credit card?
Discussion
Done a google search but all it surfaced was mums net gibberish.
I have an end of contract final payment due next month, less than 10k, now I have the money sat aside for this, however can anyone tell me am I able to pay this to the finance company by means of credit card?
Reasons for doing so simply, now there's no credit card fees, I have a cash back credit card with a big enough balance and promotion on purchases and interest on money in the bank - why the hell not!

There are still credit card fees. They just can't be passed on to the CC holder as a separate charge. Why don't you call your finance provider and ask them?

Depends entirely on the finance provider as to whether they will accept a credit card payment. They can't charge a fee for it, but they can decline to accept it entirely.
I know Mercedes will only accept a debit card or bank transfer.
Ok thanks I'll wait til next week and ask. I just wondered whether this was the norm or completely unheard of. I know Mercedes will only accept a debit card or bank transfer.

I`ll wager you will be charged a decent percentage for using a credit card. They just call them "Transaction Fees" or Admin fees now rather than Credit Card Fees.
If they're charging an admin or transaction fee they need to charge it for all payment methods, they can no longer single-out credit cards.romeogolf said:
