Office audio system - reccomendations please
Discussion
Staff from one of the larger office spaces has suggested a better sound system, so that it can be heard everywhere in the room.
The room is rectangular shape with a TV at one end playing music, or football/sports/other programs on whenever requested etc. The furthest seat is around 15 metres away, maybe a little more.
I'd like something that will give coverage around the room, I thought about ceiling mounted speakers (in those square ceiling tiles) but I'm not sure on a system that can either be run from the TV or just a DAB radio type system. I'd prefer the unit to take sound from the TV so the TV can be heard everywhere.
The only other thing is the ceiling is quite high with lots of air ducting above.
Thanks

A couple of questions for you....The room is rectangular shape with a TV at one end playing music, or football/sports/other programs on whenever requested etc. The furthest seat is around 15 metres away, maybe a little more.

1. Does the TV have variable analogue output or is it fixed?
2. Does the TV have an optical audio output.
2. What is the budget?

The tv is some budget thing so I'm going to guess it's pretty basic. It would really have helped if I'd have found out first wouldn't it. 1. Does the TV have variable analogue output or is it fixed?

The budget is negotiable. Let's say £400 But I can make it more if it needs to be. I honestly know very little about these type of systems.
I'll ring and ask someone to check for me.

If the TV has a variable analogue output then you just need a small power amp and some speakers; the volume can be controlled from the TV.The budget is negotiable. Let's say £400 But I can make it more if it needs to be. I honestly know very little about these type of systems.

If the TV has a fixed analogue output then you'll need an integrated amp ( to control the volume ) and some speakers.
If it only has digital audio out then an amp with an optical input will be needed.
One of these would cover all the bases https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sabaj-Bluetooth-Optical-D...
Speakers wise... one of these mounted in each corner of the room will be fine ( 5.25" version ). They are 8 ohms so you can connect one pair to the amps left terminals and one pair to the right.
The guys at work can either listed to the TV or pair their phones to the amp via Bluetooth. £200 all in.

Thank you for the help, looks ideal for what I need it for. It will certainly keep the staff happy and such a low price too. If the TV has a fixed analogue output then you'll need an integrated amp ( to control the volume ) and some speakers.

Thanks again
You're welcome. I forgot to put the link in for the speakers.
