VW Type 3 TL Fastback - Buying Tips?

Hi guys

I have been fascinated by the Type 3 TL of late and am going to see one in a week's time.

Any suggestions on what to look out for in these cars as I am not very familiar with them? Any specific rust areas, mechanical troubles or maintenance jobs which would ideally have been done on a 90k mile car?
