Audi RS4 with lowered suspension
Discussion
Hi all,
Just after a quick bit of advice... am planning on buying a 2014/15 Audi RS4 Avant. Have found one that ticks all the right boxes (for me) but it has been lowered. Not a huge amount, but still. As far as I can tell it's just had new coils fitted that make the car sit lower. And it wasn't done at an Audi dealership.
The car has the sports pack, and therefore DRC.
I would prefer the car to be standard.
So a few questions...
Is it an issue to get the car put back to on standard springs? (meaning the original springs the car would have come with)
Would swapping the springs have caused any issues with the DRC?
If I buy the car, and get it put back to "normal" - should I have any other cause for concern?
Hoping someone can help - as you can probably tell, I'm not massively techie!
Thanks,
Ropey

It should only be a case of getting a garage to fit a standard set of springs and then having the alignment re done to suit. Some aftermarket springs are able to be used with factory DRC / chassis control, others drop the car too much and disables the feature somehow (I don't know how exactly) if it's only a small drop, chances are you'll be ok and shouldn't need anything else doing.
After going back to standard you should have no issues at all.
Hope this helps.
