I spend a lot on cc mostly business use, a lot of online stuff, and I like to use credit card for the support ie chargeback when you get the occasional prat company that doesn't want to play ball.

Right now I have an electronic item, DOA, company being tossers and RBS not that much better, want me to get it independently tested and certified faulty before they proceed. So despite being pro qualified I'm looking at investing more $$ and jumping through hoops for someone the same as me to state what I already know in the hope of a refund for a poxy £200 item, seem to remember disputes in the past I've put in the hands of my card have been less fraught.

I’m not sure section 75 protection is extended to business purchases. I think it’s a consumer protection.

I have a number of cards but find AmEx to be the best CS when something goes wrong.

1.5% cashback (tax free) is nice too smile

Which Amex gives 1.5% cashback? I've got their bog-standard platinum card which gives 0.5% for the first £5k each year, and 1.0% above £5k. It is "free" so presumably a 1.5% card has a fee?

Perhaps it's 1% then, I thought it was 1.5 - I also have a Platinum with no annual fee.

My apologies.
