I'm just wondering... with cryptocurrencies I was under the impression that all platforms only worked with CFDs. Is that the case or can you now use sites like ETORO to actually buy and own them?

Following on from this, with something like BitCoin, which obviously exploded massively in value, if you had a holding of crypto in CFD format and the value rocketed, what would happen if the platform couldn't actually meet it's value? I mean if someone had bought a few thousand BitCoin on a CFD back on day one, surely it would be too big to cover?

Certainly don't ALL work on CFD's.
Binance
Bitfinex
and many more, yes you own the coin.

eToro no longer does multiples on Crypto, 1:1 ratio only.
