Carpal tunnel surgery (recovery and rehab)

Quiet a common procedure, so anyone here been through it?

My main queries relate to what I'll be able/unable to do after the op, and how long before I can resume certain activities. So, main things I'd like an idea of is how long it will take me to do the following after surgery

1) Handle 18 month old daughter (changing nappies, picking her up, getting her dressed, that sort of thing)

2) Driving

3) Motorcycling. This isn't just a leisure activity. I frequently commute by bike.

4) Typing. A major part of my job

5) Exercise, particularly dumbbell work (bench press, curls) and push-ups

Any help or advice gratefully received
