Registering a charge.

Hopefully this is a simple request, it's just that I have never done it before and I don't know what the process is.

My company was formed to purchase a courtyard adjoining my house. My wife and I lent the company money to do this and I would like to register a charge against the company so that any accounts show it owes us, and that it cannot dispose of the land without us being paid back.

How do I go about doing this?

File a MR01 Particulars of a Charge form at Companies House. That will then show up in CH data.

Depending on the type of financial statements produced, the charge may or may not need to be disclosed.

Thanks. As you might have guessed, this is all new to me. Turns out I'm over the time limit, which probably makes it a bit pointless.
