I am trying to display an RSS news feed on my website (www.tombrimble.co.uk) and have managed to format it using CSS on my PC but when I upload all the files it doesn't work.

Does anybody have any ideas why?

The source code is in www.tombrimble.co.uk/index.html

Have you identified where in your script it is failing?

I'm not seeing any JS errors when viewing the page

Yeah - you've got a script error, alright. When I run the JS debugger I use, I get the following info.

It's this line that's failing: xmlDoc.load(URI)

and the reason is: Access is denied.

Don't know if that's any help to you (line 9 of the readRSS.js file).

It's a freebie - think I downloaded it from Microsoft, to be honest. Google for Microsoft Javascript Debugger, and you should be sorted.

Your error is probably because yer trying to load from another domain ie. ....../rss/uk/motorSportsNews and not your host server. Just done a quick search and it looks as if you can get to it by changing IE browser settings but that's prob not acceptable to you.

You could prob get the file in some other way and save it to your server which should allow it to load.

Try saving the file to your server somewhere and reference it that way to see if it works.

Good luck
