There seems to be a lot coming out, so what do people want to see next?

A few I looked at recently:

Anyone played the above and can recommend? The Satellite Reign one looks particularly good, but the reviews seem mixed

A few I have played and highly recommend:
My wish list:
  • Updated graphics version of Settlers 2 - I've played all the newer versions with their nice 3D graphics, but the gameplay isnt as good as 2
  • Constructor - I used to love this game, a modern remake or one I can play on Windows 10 would be awesome
  • Micro Machines 2 - A simple pick up and play Micro Machines game with the league system and multiplayer - is it too much to ask?
  • Worms 2 - A genuine Worms game, without all the gimmicks of the new versions
  • Cannon Fodder and The Chaos Engine, a graphically updated version of either and I would be happy
  • Speedball 2, because who wouldn't want an updated version

Would love a red faction remake. The sequels just seemed a step backwards in the destruction effects.

It does, if you play it Vanilla. You need to go to Steam Workshop and download some of the new scenarios or mods to really change the game. For example there is a Zombie world mod, a Cult mod, medievil mod etc which all change the game drastically

To be honest though, if I get bored I usually just restart again and change the scenario (e.g. play in artic snow ice or play with 1 guy with no resources and incapable of violence so you have to scavange all the fruit etc)

That's the one, I acquired a copy via other means but lost it a few years ago.

Decent game, I enjoyed it anyway!

Constructor is available on Steam, works fine win10 - its a new version. I refunded it though, boring.

Satellite Reign is pretty good though.

and Transport Fever - https://store.steampowered.com/app/446800/Transpor...

Does it have the Persuadatron? Best weapon in the game biggrin

I'd love to see an updated version of STARS! I've never managed to get it running on anything newer than Win XP.

Brilliant! I didn't know they re-released Constructor, will definitely be getting this

Thanks, both of these look exactly what I was after - essentially same gameplay with some nice shiny graphics

biggrin Not tried it yet, the reviews seem mixed. A lot of people comment that its not as good as the original - may wait until its on sale to try it.

I picked it up on sale a couple of weeks ago, took me a few hours of perseverance before I got into it, but I'm now 25 hours in and find it quite good. Definitely invokes the spirit of the original game, although it is a big buggy in places (nothing too serious from what I can tell).

It doesn't have the Persuadatron, but you can mind hack people and take control of them biggrin (maximum of 5 at any one time)

(Although that does remind me I wouldn't mind another crack at the original, I remember using the Persuadatron to 'persuade' everyone on the entire map to follow me around, ended up with crowds of 50+ people hehe )

Zoo Tycoon.
Apparently it won't run on Windows 10

Also C&C Generals, although tbf that still looks pretty good even today, but I'd buy an 'HD' version of it for sure.

Would be great if they did give C&C a reboot. I used to love Tiberian Sun, Red Alert 2 and Generals. Never gave any of the later titles a go though, might need to keep an eye out for them in the Steam sale.

I’d like to see age of empires for iPad.

There’s been some command and conquer ports but they’ve been dumbed down massively.

I'm wary of these, I bought the Carrier Command rehash and was bitterly disappointed. Many happy memories played that on C64 and later Amiga as a kid and hopes of more of the same well and truly dashed by some terrible plot script and dreadful voice acting.

My point above to one side, I did pick this up on Steam when it was just a few quid recently but haven't played yet.

I'd love to see a modern version but the same game missions and gameplay for Terror Nova: Strike Force Centauri. Loved that game, so much so that when it became available on steam I bought it again even though its only in VGA. I've not yet ventured to play it again yet mind...

I'm surprised there's not been a reboot of the original X-Wing and Tie Fighter games tied in with the new starwars films. The seem to be loads of first person shooter type starwars games, but the old flight sims were fantastic. The cropped up for next to nothing on a Humble Bundle a while back but I can't get them run properly on my PC.
