2006 E90 330D underside damage help

Noticed the damage in the pic the other day.

It's on the underside of the car approximately underneath the drivers footwell.

Can anyone help me identify the part please? Heat shield?

Also assuming I can get underneath the car is replacement a DIY job?

Doesn’t look like it needs changing from that pic, just refixing. If you want to change it you can find the part no on realoem website.
