Cats crapping on the lawn

A neighbour's cat seems to like coming into our garden and I am getting a little fed up of stinking cat crap on the lawn every time I go to cut it.

I have tried some garlic-scented powder stuff from the garden centre, which works for a week or so, but then the problem returns.

Can anyone recommend a method of deterring said cat?

I am tempted with a rifle/shotgun/RPG but am afraid of missing and messing up my garden

Get a cat other cats won't go in your garden and your new cat will crap in someone else's garden win win.

Lemons. Cut them up fine sprinkle them around their favourite toilet spot and they will ps off next door they hate the smell.
