Casting from Apple onto Chromecast

Currently I have BT Sport, and Sky Sports Mobile through EE and Vodafone. Both these have to be watched through the device (iPad & iPhone) but I was wondering if the could be watched on a tv via a Chromecast?

I have tried the normal casting and neither app allows it, but is there another way through an app to mirror what is on the screen and replicate that on the TV?

They lock out casting, it used to work for sky and bt , sky removed it first I wasn’t aware that BT had. It’s revenue protection to stop people watching it on their big TVs and have to pay a proper subscription! You can get a lighting to hdmi adapter (Argos sell them) but I don’t know if it works for sky and bt ! Kinda defeats the object of having an Apple TV but there you go

The Sky app won't output to HDMI from Android so I'd guess this would be the same from IOS.

I cast BT Sport from my phone to my TV through the usual app. Much more reliable than their website for me.

Nope. HDMI dongle for your TV you can cast to - in a different way to chromecast/airplay.
From about £8 or so on ebay.
