Hi all,

Did anyone here spec the Saddle Brown leather interior? I'm looking at different colour combos on the Cayman and Saddle Brown doesn't seem to be popular at all. In the brochure, Saddle Brown with the GT Silver exterior colour is a Porsche recommended combo which surprised me.

I've searched the threads here but can't find anything. I Googled images and there are a few 911s with it, but I suspect pictures don't do it justice.

That's the combination I have in my Panamera.

When I bought the car, I needed persuading even to look at a brown leather interior but, actually, it is IMO quite tasteful and a good match for the GT Silver, which is a wonderful (almost pearlescent shade).

Excellent to hear! That combo is intriguing.

Is the below Saddle Brown or is it Espresso??

It is hard to tell from a photo but that looks too light to be Saddle Brown. The brown of the dash top is closer to the shade in my car.

I think it looks fantastic - oozes quality.

Silver is quite insipid and a coloured interior can lift the look. I also think Espresso and Agate work well with silvers, although in some Porsche applications single colours can look overdone. Black is popular, but very boring.

I do like that but would want the steering wheel and top of the dash in black. Just a bit too much for me.

I think the above photos are Espresso natural leather.
I have just got a Boxster S with this and GT Silver mettalic
It looks very smart and understated and different from black, IMO of course!

Hi, I know that colour is very personal choice but it may be worth considering the standard agate grey interior. This may sound stupid but I think that it's a really beautiful shade of dark brown and doesn't seem grey to me at all.

Opinions? Am I just crazy?

Agreed, agate is nicer shade of brown imo.
