Broken BMW f31?

Hi all
Can anyone help me, I have a BMW f31 330d.....
Used the car this morning no problems, just went out to use it again and nothing is working the key doesn't work no dash lights and there is a strange pulsing sound coming from underneath the car on the drivers side? The car was already unlocked but can't open the boot.
Flat battery? Flat key battery? Help......
I've discovered the pulsing sound is coming from the fuel pump under the back seat....
