Pre-war Lucas headlamps and R-R fuel sender

A friend of mine's father died a while back and amongst masses of more common-or-garden car parts there are two new pre-war Lucas King of the Road headlamps and a Rolls-Royce fuel sender all in the original boxes. The boxes the lamps are in have the following numbers on the label, 5089A and N8L 147 GP. The lamps are painted black. The sender is a Rolls-Royce RH2760. I've done the usual googling but can't find any quite like them for sale anywhere, at least none with an advertised price. Any ideas what they may be worth or who to ask? I thought I'd ask here first and then perhaps try the RREC or RROC.
The money raised will be going to the widow who could do with it so I'm just a little concerned just to offer them to a dealer only to see them advertised the next day with a zero on the price offered. Apologies for picture quality.

The fuel tank sender unit is for a Silver Shadow I think , put it on ebay with a buy it now price of £100 . The headlamps have got to be worth £300 to £500 the pair , again stick them on evilbay . What other old car stuff did your father's friend have . You obviously picked out what you thought was the most valuable however sometimes it is the most mundane looking stuff that can be the most sought after , in my experience Rolls Royce stuff is not a great seller . I have dealt in classic car parts for 20 years , ebay is by far the best way of realising the best price although posting a pair of fragile looking headlamps is potentially daunting . If there is a reasonable qantity of old car parts , either new or secondhand then I would be interested , I like to think I will give a fair price .

I have just had a look at my Lucas catalogue covering vehicles from 1945 to 1960 and the only externally mounted Lucas headlamps it covers are the Lucas P100 type which are similar to the ones you have . Have a look at www.vintage-headlamp-restoration.co.uk .
