What mortgage for rental and pay off lumps

Hello all and just wonder if there is a product out there that would allow us to rent out our house with an interest free mortgage and also allow us to make overpayments as and when?

Reason being we are looking to move abroad for an indefinite time and will be left with a roughly 50k mortgage on a 450k property we want to keep and rent out whilst away. As said interest only if possible but with the option to overpay when we want and after we have adjusted to life abroad on the boat and see how the pensions allow us to live etc.

We would have 2 pension coming in with a total of about 35k excluding any rental income.

Hi Lee,

There is actually a mortgage broker next door to us, i mentioned it to him just now and he seems to think there is one.
Few questions, will you be letting the property when you are away?
Is your pension income pre or post retirement?
