Bike Trailer Axle

Hi all,

Going away to the Peak District with Mrs and two little’uns next week.

Bought this kiddie bike trailer;

I kinda half expected it, but it doesn’t fit into the axle at the back of my bike.

I have a 2016 Whyte T129-S with a 12mm maxle.

Other than spending £50 on one of these adapters;

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also if I do go down the route of buying an adapter, which size do I need?
