Yes and I've emailed my dealership to enquire if my 2011 zed 4 is a candidate but not suprisingly no reply yet .

Eventually got through to bmw h q and they recommend booking in to dealership for free safety check.

Had my E93 335i recalled last year for replacement of the electrical link that fails.

Wonder if they will want to do it again or if I was just one of the few to have advance replacement early.

Is there a list of cars affected anywhere or is it just all 1 series’ (for example).

I have a 130i, wondering if I should do anything...

Take your key to your nearest BMW dealer. Ask them to check if your car has any outstanding recalls or quality enhancements.

The matter has been discussed on radio 2 Jeremy vine . Lots of slating of BMW but strangely no comment from BMW at all!!?

From what I understand, the issue affects all models using the N20 engine, as does my 2014 Z4 28i.

What I don't understand is why BMW recalled vehicles in the US & Canada in 2013, apparently for the same problem, but not in Europe?
