Bummer, parking ticket

Bummer, got my 2nd ever parking ticket the other day, overstayed my welcome by 12 mins in an empty car park ( ok ok ok it wasn't totally empty) because of spending money in local community.

My 1st ever ticket last year - £25 off if you pay in 14 days sir - was in a free car park

I shall pay with a big smile on my face as I know I am helping cash strapped local councils

If it's a local authority ticket, you could try to appeal, but 10 minutes grace is 10 minutes grace...
But for £25, is your time worth more to you?


If it's a private parking ticket... then the gloves are off!

I've only ever had one parking ticket in my life, parked the car, as i naturally swivelled around after closing the car door i saw a meter right across the street from me, got a ticket, placed it i my car, got on with getting a few messages.
Returned to a ticket/fine on my window?
Anyone like to hazard a guess as to why i got a ticket?? I was stunned as to the reason, i couldn't believe it!

The meters on one side of the road belong to one authority, but you were parked in an other authorities area?
