Looking for a new car & i've been told to go German but looking for a car to have a bit of fun & something good on petrol when taking it steady, what would people recommend?

Nothing to go on. £50k or £5k? 2 seater, 1 seater, 8 seater? Mileage? Auto/manual?

Looking around the 12k mark lower the mileage the better, auto or manual i don't mind & a 5 seater
