Call me cynical but...

I've been commuting from jc10-jc2 of the M4 since last June. I have never seen a patrolling trafpol car in this period, until now. Last night and this morning I saw a patrol on both occasions.

No call me cynical but I've not seen a scamera van out and about for a couple of weeks.

Usually see about 2 or 3 a week parked up, and at least one en route to wherever.

No scamera on the A52 last week........

Will be going that way on Friday, would be the first time this year if it happened 2 weeks running.

I have seen a Police vehicle locally and 2 more on the M40 this afternoon. Not sure if the plain white RangeRover with blues and twos steaming along the M40 in Warwickshire was BiB though.

Paddington station has had a police presence for the last two weeks.
Lots of dogs. Don't know if they are bomb sniffers or the drug sniffer ones they love to use in london ( having neither bombs or drugs on me ).

Saw a documentary set Soho last year where some poor sod went up to stroke the nice police doggie. Dog starts barking and going mad. Oh dear - 1 reefer found in pocket.

Well, could be coincidence....

No scamera van on the A52 again this week, and I've seen 4 police cars of various descriptions between Grantham and Boston today.

Our local authority has no scam vans, but I saw one this week! They seem to go to "Rent-a-Scam" as and when req'd.

I've even seen one with a TVP crest on it in the past, and I'm in the NW!

Maybe they're like luggage trolleys on the railways ... I saw one marked 'Penzance' at Waterloo Station! - Streaky
