Looking to buy a Transporter... But, don't know where to sta
Discussion
So i am looking to buy a transporter in the not too distant future. It will be used as a daily run around and for transporting my motorbike to track days. I do not want a camper conversion but would be open to anything that could be done to aid the comforts of a day at the race track.
My issue is when looking currently, the HUGE variation in price. can any body here steer me in the direction of the smartest spec to buy? What should i be looking for and what should i avoid??
I have never owned or really been interested in the VW brand so any help here would be appreciated.
Also, best places to look or buy would be appreciated also.
Thanks.

I've used my Renault Trafic to transport my various motorbikes. First of all because of front wheel drive the rear floor is lower so it's easier to put a bike in and being a normal roof height have no issues with windscreens or mirrors.
I have run Trafic's in my business for over 30 years and on the whole they are cheap to buy, cheap to maintain and don't seem to go wrong that much. One of my early vans did 180K miles passed every MOT and cost peanuts to run.
OK it doesn't have that 'surfer dude' image but it does the job and very comfortable and well equipped.
