GTD remap - does the EMU 'learn' behaviour
Discussion
A friend took his VW GTD into VW dealer to have a service. At the same time they applied a 'remap' to the car as they said it had not been subject tot he VW emissions recall. Now the car drives slowly and without power.
The VW dealer said "never mind - drive it aggressively for 2,000 miles and the car will adapt to your driving style." I think that's a load of nonsense - what so others think?

I think he’s having you on there by the sounds of it. I’ve heard of some power and acceleration / fuel consumption being bad from this so called fix. I just can’t see the car changing to your driving style. What about if you were a city driver not going over 30/40mph.
I actually read something about this last year. I’ll try and find the article.
