Looking at possibly buying one of these, 2008-2010 plate, second hand for my family of four! Budget up to approx £15k.

Any former owners out there who can kindly post their feedback on this car? Positive or negative regardless.

Many thanks in advance.

We’ve had a 2011 2.0tdi for 6 months and are very happy with it. It’s solid, big enough without being huge and looks good imo.

Ours has the sliding rear bench which is useful, there isn’t loads of legroom for rear adults but the boot is a decent size. Xenon lights and power boot are good features but the interior tech is very dated, although this is the case for a lot of Audi’s before the major facelifts. Mpg isn’t great but reasonable for a heavy 4x4 and personally I don’t care about performance on this type of car.

When researching before buying I seem to remember issues with oil consumption on the 2.0 petrol and problematic auto boxes. We have the manual which can sometimes judder a bit on pulling away, a common issue with this box.

Hi thanks for this, the car has to fit four people (two adults) so not sure if the boot is going to be large enough in my opinion. Interesting to learn about the judder on pulling away
