In-car connected services on lease
Discussion
Hi all hoping someone could shed some light on this,
I saw yesterday when accepting my lease deal that in the contract hire terms, I’m not allowed to sign up to in-car connected services, but it does say "*there may be exceptions to this”
What is the reasoning behind this?
When is says exceptions, what does this mean?
I have done some research on it and it seems lex auto lease don’t allow it which are the funder for my new car but other providers don’t mind!
How can they tell if i do activate it? and if so would my contract be terminated will i can charged?
what do they do to stop you activating it?
It won’t make me cancel or anything like that just seems a bit odd as it does feel i won’t be able to use some of the features.
Just for your knowledge its a BMW if this makes any difference as i have seen on a VW forum they had the same thing!
Many Thanks and sorry for all the questions!
