MR2 MK3 Trip Meter

Anyone help me out and explain how the trip meter works on the MR2 roaster, I have failed to figure it out, unless mine is broken.

Be more specific: what do you want to know? You push the button to cycle the options, hold it when on the trip counter to reset.
