Wedg1e has kindly suggested to me that this part may come from a TR6 and the part number is stamped on the side. Thanks Wedg1e - my mechanic has said he will set to to look for the number.

Anyone have any other ideas or suggestions for a substitute/alternative item?

Thanks
JJ

RT racing do them for a reasonably £50 or so. Had a couple from them, and may even still have a spare one amongst all the bits somewhere if you get stuck.

I hope you're thinking of the master cylinder. The slave should be around £30.

Thanks.

I note the brake slave cylinder is listed in their catalogue at about 50 quid, so if that's the same as a clutch slave cylinder I'll have to go for one of those.

I did mine last year with a refurb kit. Took both cylinders apart, changed the seals did the job for about £11.00.

Thanks Les -

Mine apparently burst so is not repairable.

Got reply from RT Racing - £59.95 + VAT so will probably get one of those - just checking out another possibility at the moment.

cheers!
