Only PDK for the Foreseeable

Apologies if previously discussed ...

I was told by my local OPC that when the factory production restarts in September, PDK will be the only transmission able for 718s (didn’t enquire about 911). They say manuals may be available in the future, but they couldn’t be certain if/when.

Can anyone confirm this?

I know PDKs significantly out sells manuals, but what could the logic be? Overall emissions …

Humm, can’t be certain but it sounds BS to me, I suspect OPC is using it as a way to try to push PDK orders (extra commission etc). I guess it’s possible that there are a stash of PDKs that they need to use first but ?
