Bit of a first world problem this one.

Looking to get a jacket or two made up with company branding on it. Ideally want a black jacket and black softshell bodywarmer.

Problem is, my logo is:

The grey in the logo won't be seen on the Jacket. Would you change the logo colours? Or leave the white background on?

I'm one of the least artistic people to have ever walked the earth, so some advice would be appreciated.

If you talk to a merchandising company, they'll probably be able to help you

I used a company called Merchandise Mania to get some bits and pieces done for Club Polo, they're pretty good

Thirded. Although I'd make it a pale silver as it won't show the dirt quite as much. (White embroidery gets grubby very quickly, and you don't want that on your logo.)

Thank you for your help everyone, good idea to change the grey to white. Will the clothing company be able to alter my logo or will I need to find a way to do that?

They will do it for you - had to do this loads of times.

Not sure wher eyou are based but always used justwilliam in Wimborne as by far the most affordable with excellent customer service and lead time.

I get a lot of sponsored stuff printed up for my lad’s rugby team.

Don’t go for a white background, whatever you do - it’ll just look like it’s stuck on.

Changing the colours of the logo sufficiently to contrast against the background will look much, much better

Quick mock-up, rather low quality in absence of original image files.

I’d go for single colour, green for everything , be cheaper and green and black contrast well

If you want to keep the logo as is, add a border around the image (maybe add a 5-10px radius) and have it embroidered. Try a few different styles though, It's a very competitive market, thus, low prices.

Clive at KC Workwear does all my stuff, they're a great bunch. Ring them on 01704 562200 and I'm sure they'll have some ideas.
