4.5 Cayenne Turbo coolant pipes
Discussion
I’m looking at buying a 2004 Turbo, it has a decent service history and has had a new propshaft etc but the only bit of paperwork I could find regarding the coolant pipes was a join was replaced at Porsche, it’s done 110k miles, does this mean it’s likely been replaced at some point by a previous owner or it’s a cost I’m going to have to factor in?.
I’m ok with either scenario, I could just do with knowing how much I’m looking at from a garage?.
Also does anyone know how to put one in low range?, I got both diff locks to engage and disengage but when I pushed the selector forward it didn’t go into low.

To be honest if the pipes haven't gone yet they might never go; I know of a few that are still original with no issue.....
The switch pack is generic; not every car was spec'ed with the full offroad pack; low range is the first click; centre difflock second click and rear difflock (if spec'ed) is the third and final option. Early cars had to be in Neutral to select low range and difflock- 'shift on the move' didnt arrive 'til 2006.
