I'm looking for the front lower control arm bushes for a 325ti.

Mine is the msport spec. Does this have different suspension to a standard 325ti?

All the ebay listings state not suitable for msport models. I'm not sure if they are just meaning the M3 or not :/

Also, how can I tell if it's just the lollipop bush that needs replacing or the whole control arm too?

thanks

This is what you need:

If you want them to last buy gen BMW. To check if you need arms too. Jack car up. Support on axle stands. Hold wheel at various positions and check for play in two ball joints on arm. See pic in my 330d thread for pic of one joint. May even do a how to pic guide when it gets a new arm.

Like Helix says, and a pair of those P bushes/lolly pop mounts are not expensive from BMW anyway

If you want new bolts too they are £3.24 for 4. Torque is 60Nm.

Worth noting there are upgrade options available also depending on what your plans are for the car.

FWIW OP all 325tis had the M-Sport suspension (and seats) regardless of whether they were SE or Sport models.

If you have some time to kill there are over 100 pages of 325ti love here:- https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

SuperPro or M3 poly bushes are a good choice here with the last choice being shown by Helix.

I’ve driven a couple of Ex6s with poly lollipop bushes and it does make a pleasant difference over older pattern/OE but not genuine stuff.
