Erratic Main beam.
Discussion
The main beam button seems to work intermittantly, it works fine with the steering wheel slightly off straight ahead in either direction, but doesn't seem to like straight ahead.
I haven't taken the steering wheel off to investigate further yet, but is this a common problem, and is it easy to fix? Bit of a dab hand with a soldering iron if needs be.
Would do a search but it's currenty disabled
Thanks

Take the TVR badge off the wheel and you will see a bolt in the centre. Unto that then put it back on two or three turns, you will see why. Then tap the wheel towards you and after a few taps it should come free, and be stopped from impacting with your face by the bolt you put in two turns! Remove the bold and remove the wheel. You will see the cable, remove and replace!
Remember to leave enough slack in the cable to enable you to turn the wheel also make sure its as far forward as you can get it, to stop it rubbing on the steering wheel boss.

Okay so now I've had a look at the cable.
I think I'll order one from TVR, but does anyone know... are they meant to be glued in on the boss side? Mine looks like it has been.
The really odd thing is that having now reassembled the whole lot, my horn, main beam and wash wipe now work a treat, but the wipers, that did work before, now don't!
Are the buttons available from TVR?

Yep it should be glued, it stops one end from putting stress on the terminal.
YOu can get the cable from TVR, and the buttons, but also try www.wwwrs.com the fact that the fault has now move suggests that the cable is shagged!
