In the market for a fairly high end nearly new or sub 15k mileage audi in the next couple of months. I won't have anything trade in and will quite possibly get a car from an audi dealer through "audi approved". If a car was on for say £35k what sort of price might I be able to drive it away for and any tips for agreeing price?

It'll be pot luck.

If they've just put the car on sale then likely no discount.

If they've had it a couple of months, or nearer to three months, then likely you'd get some knocked off.

Some dealers put car up for what they want and no discount, others may add a thousand onto the price so they can discount a thousand.

No harm in asking though. But begin to walk away if you're not happy with the price, they may change their mind as you start to leave the showroom.

Now is quite a good time to get a cheap car, end of May.

Look for an Audi on a non Audi forecourt.

Chances are they took it in PX at the beginning of March and are trying for a retail sale. Most main dealers have a three month stock policy so will look to discount a car at three months, trade it out to another dealer, or send it to auction.

I've bought quite a few motors at trade value this way.
