Overfinch develops Cayenne-killer
High-end 4x4 from Range Rover tuning specialist
Fancy a Cayenne but don't want a Porsche? Development of Overfinch's 500bhp über-Rangie is well advanced, said the Range Rover tuner, announcing its version of a Cayenne-killer.
Predicted performance is a top speed of 156mph and a 0-60mph of 5.9 seconds. Land Rover’s most sporty Range Rover models is about to acquire a body kit, with aerodynamic body styling, and a new exhaust with twin oval tailpipes.
Overfinch’s popular Tiger 22-inch wheels now completely fill the wheel arches -- fancy a cross-country hoon in one?
Overfinch said it will start deliveries in autumn and, as with all Overfinch products, the engine, wheels, exhaust and aerostyling will all be available separately.
No prices have yet been announced but the top-end Range Rover Sport, the 4.4 V8 HSE, will set you back £50,000.

Part of me thinks why, part of me thinks I want one. (If only to wipe the smile off the smug gits in their crayon's).
£50,000 is a lot for such a petty act of amusement.

Thats £50k to start with, before you Ofinch the thing?
That puts it in KN Turbo territory. Would make a good dual that would

I have never seen a good looking Overfinch car in my life! They look like they've been put togeather by posh toffs who use old bodykits from the 80's. Just my opinion of course, and to date the nearest I have ever got to owning a 4x4 was my £300 bodykitless Panda 4x4. Still, if they make money they make money so fair play to them.
Top model Range Rover Sport is a Supercharged version at about £58k which comes fairly fully loaded.
Having driven one, they handle exceptionally well and beefing up the engine will shaft a very well balanced dynamic package and an incredibly satisfying car to drive.
Would love one but would mean selling the Tamora which is not going to happen.
The body kit looks appauling.

I like Range Rovers. I'm also in a small minority of people who like Cayennes.
Now I'm pretty sure this overfinch conversion won't blow away a Cayenne. Mainly because of and article on a magazine EVO maybe? where the cayyene matched an RS6 around a track.
If the RR can beat an RS6 I'd be very, very impresed

Your all a bunch of winging old maids.
Who cares really if it isn't a KN beater? These cars sell to a very select group of very waelth people who buy Overfinches in multiple orders to sit waiting for the owners personal jets to arrive. In short, not the people who post here. How many of you actually drive? How many of you have driven this type of car? How many of you have driven an Overfinch? Not many I expect.
If you like cars then you have to accept there is a place for stuff like this, and the roads are more intersting for having this stuff about.
I'm sure the actual bodykit will look fantastic, even if the sketch isn't.
