B3ta is a great source of random web-based entertainment. Every Friday their newsletter contains links to all sorts of interesting/weird/amusing/daft things to see and do on the interweb.

The Onion is a bit hit-and-miss and is laiden with adverts, but it can be hilarious.

Private Eye's site ( www.private-eye.co.uk ) is worth an occasional look.
