My mother has a colt cc with folding metal convertible roof

Was looking at it over the weekend and thought its seals were starting to look tired

Can someone recommend a treatment?

Car is 10 years old and water tight, would like to keep it that way

Cheers

This works well http://www.halfords.com/motoring/engine-oils-fluid...

BMW dealers used to sell a "gummi pflege" product for that very use but not sure they still do.

Swissvax seal feed. Its bloody expensive, but you need so little, it will see you ok for 10 years. Bite the bullet its great stuff. There are others out there. Bmw have one for their z3 roof seal thats good at a fraction of the price

Cheap - Gummi Pflege

Feeling slightly flush - Swissvax seal feed

Wanting to spend a stload to stop any squeaking from rubber seals for at least a year - Dupont Krytox in liquid form (usually between £35 - £40 for about 30 ml). You really do pay a lot for Dupont stuff!

I have tried all of the above, but IMO if you can stomach the cost and want to do only once in a while Krytox is the mutts nuts. You need to let it dry a little though after application otherwise it smears a bit on glass.

It gets rebranded by the manufacturers I know BMW (83 19 9 408 523) and any of the VW/Audi/Skoda etc. do it.
