2012 Audi A6 avant se crankshaft sensor

Hey guys I hope somebody can help. My car went into limp mode while driving home the other day. The RAC diagnosed the problem as the crankshaft sensor.

Can anyone tell me how difficult the job is.
My garage said it could be a 1 hour job but might be a 3 hour job etc.
Any help would be great.
