My 718CGTS arrives in a couple of weeks, but I just happened to pop on the configurator again, and got the following message:

Due to an upcoming revision of specification, this model is not currently available for configuration as a new factory order. Please continue to use the Car Configurator to explore the model. For more information regarding availability please contact your preferred Porsche Centre.

Anyone have any idea what this relates to? Something new for the GTS, or just something like re-tooling the factory / changes for emissions?

Particulate filter stuff I would imagine? All petrol cars will have these post factory shutdown.

The configurator is shut down on all Porsche models. The 911 one is shut permanently as 991/2 is no longer in production once current orders are fulfilled - 992 out after factory shut down in August.

OP - suggest the others are right due to fitting of particulate filters. Be grateful you’ll be getting a pre-filter car!!

There are some changes on the US configurator for the 718. Some colours gone, including graphite blue, PSE standard across range, probably some others, haven’t been through it in detail. I’d guess it must also be price increase time, too.
