Good to see the search back again

..just a really minor thing though Ted: Since the creation of the new "page" in between the search selection page and the results page (nice animated gif ).. the "back" button on the results page doesn't go far enough "back" any more (i.e it takes you to the new intermediate page)

Cheers
Matt

Sorry, search is still causing me problems so it was back as a temporary experiment which failed.

More required.

I did have a look at Google doing it but it doesn't have enough of the GS pages in it.

The search works but the load it puts on the server results in it slowing everything down.

You won't have noticed but no one has complained about the speed of the site in the last week or so.

Apart from the times it simply wasn't working, that is.

Do you run Firefox and have you recenty updated it to v1.0.3? (I had this problem when I did but I have a fix)

Depends on the plugins you may or may not have installed.

I hate to say it Ted, but I don't think the "exact phrase" is quite working as it seems to be searching on the words individually. It seems a bit quicker than before though

Having to disable it temporarily occasionally whilst I do some roadworks on the database.
