One (old) lady owner who then drove onto a gatepost before being persuaded to hang up the keys - I assume.

Where’s the receipt for the lower arm & tracking done? Photo 10 makes the wheel look really wrong. One receipt for a timing belt 4 years ago doesn’t prove much on a 15yr old car anyway.

With the specifics of that out the way. What benefit does the fusion give you over a regular fiesta? It’s not appreciably more spacious is it? We had an equivalent fiesta over in Cyprus, but the 1.4 petrol. Nippy enough & reliable, the main fault being the steering wheel going hard and disintegrating over time (but that might be the Cyprus sun effect). So yeah, it might well be perfectly fine (I have no experience of the 1.4d engine), but there’s millions of Fiestas about, why get an obviously damaged one?

You won't be delivering many parcels in that, 67bhp, 0-60 in 15.5 seconds tumbleweed

But in all seriousness, the 1.4 diesel will be slow, and any theoretical fuel economy will be lost in the real world ragging it to get up to speed. Go for the 1.6 diesel if you can, we had one and it was quick enough and good for 60+ mpg.

Or failing that, a 1.4 petrol Fiesta should be good for mid 40mpg.

With that budget buy on condition rather than mileage.

The Fusion you're looking at is a 15 year old car. Engine will probably keep going another 15 years, but the rest of the car will rot long before then. Probably a lot sooner with the damaged sill as it will rust a lot quicker there.

I guess maybe if it drove straight it might be worth a cheeky punt and offer £500, see if they're desperate to get shot of it. But I'd still look at the Fiesta I linked above first.

If it's for parcels, why not buy an actual van?
