Digital SLR

I currently have a SONY P32 and a Canon A75 , but am looking for a camera that can have better zoom and action shot potential .... would this mean going for a digital SLR , if so which model/lens , and if not is there a model in between mine and SLR's that could improve my imaging . .

Canon are bringing out an S2 IS, otherwise you could look at a Nikon Coolpix 8800 or there are about 5-6 other prosumer camera's out there.

The Canon will give you 5mp and a x12 zoom (approx 35mm - 480mm)

The Nikon 8mp and x10 (35-350mm).

They give you many features of a Dslr, but not everything and are (will be) iro £450-500+

I found my S1 IS a good learning tool, then went on to buy a Dslr.

Sounds like Canon 20D or Nikon D70 then.....

Hmm. I don't think I'll be matching your pictures for a while, Martin! I've decided to read the booklet first!!! Complicated, but fun!!!
