Hello. After two years of driving a Mk1 Focus I decided there was time for a change finally. I was mostly after Volvo T5’s but by the time I got to buy them someone else already bought them, so I was thinking about keeping the focus till it dies. Well it died yesterday so the hunt was on. I wanted something with a bigger engine, rwd or awd, budget and no BMW. Ended up with this X-Type with 3.0 V6 manual in British Racing Green. It does pull like crazy, but it seems to me that it would be rude to boot it all the time. I think an auto box would suit it better, but hey ho.

Auto box does suit the 3.0 better, I've owned both. Coolant leak is probably a leaking header tank. The joint to the overflow cracks open and they stay only 1/2 full.
I thought it was the tank, until I checked it out yesterday, and it is the overflow because the Tank is brand new. Also there was this static noise from the air vents coming, after a brief search the "internet" said that it's a sensor which needs to be taken out and cleaned. Well a hoover was enough the noise is now gone
