Well, my beastie passed it's MOT this week - and the total work required was..........NOTHING!!
No corrosion, no wobbly bearings, No headlamp alligning, no mixture tweeking, not even a hand brake to tighten - even though the MOT was carried out at a VERY reputable garage.
I do love it when a plan comes together!

Passed MOT as well, but did the work before (and during): replaced all front ball joints and suspension bushes. And as all time went into the front suspension had to go to MOT with raised headlight pods, and tweak CO 50% down during MOT!

Edited for: welded some plates on my outriggers as well (the outriggers themselves were fine)

mine has succumbed to the outrigger rot and needs a steering rack
any ideas on best place to source the steering rack guys - non pas '84 350i
