Hi, obviously i have bought things before from abroad and had them shipped direct to me in the UK but this is a little different.

I want to buy something from the Puma USA store and they will not do international shipping. I therefore need an intermediary to get the parcel delivered to and then them to ship this to me. Does anyone know of a company that can be trusted and will do this kind of thing?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for something similar at the moment and have been considering the options. A quick Google reveals firms such as this offering a forwarding service.

I have helped one or two people on here with easily mailable items - if it's just a pair of shoes, I'd be happy to help. I've done it with car trim parts sunglasses etc previously for members on here.

Feel free to send me a private message.

That is the same company i had found! Trustpilot seems to give it fairly good reviews.

Thanks for the offer, it is indeed for some trainers

These infact, dont judge me

I will look into the company first as i may need to start using a company such as this for bulky items soonish, and would prefer to test the service with a product where if i lose the money its not the end of the world.

Thanks again though, and if this doesnt seem like a good idea then if still okay i will PM you.

I’ve used Vpost before. Be aware that different states have different purchase tax rates, Vpost is a lower tax rate.

Stackry - https://www.stackry.com/

Regularly used them for various items, Mustang parts included. They're based in NH, so no sales tax.

Brilliant i will try this one as it’s been tried, thanks.

Think of the trainers like a McLaren Senna, extremely limited release and most won’t see the light of day as people wait with values rising. At least i plan on wearing mine out!

Isn't that something to do with Royal Mail having to check the contents and paying the VAT.

My son had to pay £20 on some T shirts he got from the states.

When i ship from Japan there is something you can ask to be put onto the front of the package which basically states don’t pay the customs charge for me, contact me and i will pay it myself. So that then all you need to do is pay the charge not the handling fees.

I am guessing, but the carrier may be obliged by law to pay the VAT, otherwise how would the VAT people you had to pay it?

I think what is supposed to happen is that they contact you direct for the VAT and don’t release from Customs until payment has been made.

I just stock up on clothes when I go there, ditch the labels at the hotel and put them all in a suitcase.
