Hi.

I've got a '97 spec car with the Caterham branded (Caerbont made) gauges.

Does anyone know a suitable replacement for the oil pressure sender?

Cheers.

Steve.

Get a mechanical oil pressure gauge instead. It will be far more reliable/accurate and cheaper in the long run than replacing the senders.

Back to the original question .....

Caterham stock them https://caterhamparts.co.uk/senders/375-oil-pressu... - not cheap though and I am not aware of alternatives for your gauge

If you want to keep the gauge you could remotely mount the sender on the chassis as the direct mounting on the engine does make it vulnerable

Thanks both.

Yes, I might look at a mechanical one as an upgrade (they seem better, I have a workshop one for testing) but I'd like to keep the gauges original (for the moment).
