Mounting bike onto Tacx Neo

Attempting to fit my bike onto a Tacx Neo and the lugs on the Neo that should fit the bike rear drop outs don't seem to be wide enough, such that the lugs on the Neo only extend half way into the drop outs, if you see what I mean. The pics try to illustrate this, but anyone else had this problem?

and from what I can make out I've done the same as the video, just doesn't look 'right' with the bike on it..
Thats fine, mine is exactly the same and never had any issues even climbing Alpe du Zwift, my bike is a cheap aluminium framed Brand X from Wiggle that I put a spare Sram 11 speed on to replace the 7 speed Shimano, great setup and it avoids stressing the frame of my Canyon!!
One tip, if you use Zwift and want the full feel of hills set the trainer difficulty to max so you have to use the same gear as you would if you actually rode the hill in real life. (see the Zwift insider article that explains it!)

Oh yes! I run a 32:11 cassette!!I have got a bit addicted to it, the main climb on Alpe du Zwift is 12km at an average of 8.5%, but do try some of the Tacx videos they work well.
The only thing I found that had limitations was using Tacx Trainer Software to generate and ride a gps route, the elevation data can be a bit erratic so, for example, on a local hill that I generated a route for, although the overall average %slope was correct over a couple of km, the trainer had me doing some 20% slope followed by a bit of negative slope so watch out for that.
Zwift is really well developed IMO, I can easily ride 2 hour sessions without getting bored, over the winter I was clocking up 250km some weeks!! Although I wasn't following a particular training plan I really noticed the improvement when I went out for an outdoor ride!!
I tried running on the treadmill with a stride sensor, that was a hoot, its not so well developed as the cycling so unless you have a smart treadmill your speed stays the same even up the hills which really annoys some cyclists when you run past them going up Box Hill

I've been off the bike pretty much since January to focus on running, having unexpectedly got a place in the London Marathon. Now that's done I need to pick it up again as I have a trip to Majorca booked in October and I don't want to be last up Sa Colabra - this will be perfect training I think
