Skoda Superb 3.6 Estate

Good morning,

I am after another estate and have always thought these were good but I have not been in / driven one.

I know somebody on the forum has picked one up recently and seemed to like it.

Does anybody have any knowledge on these they could offer? I'm only interested in the 3.6 model, in terms of engine, but obviously the rest of the car is the same irrelevant of the engine.

Tax looks high, and not as quick as you'd expect from a 3.6 shirley?

As a practical car it looks great, but the figures on paper look disappointing.

Bumper looks a different colour to the rest of the car?

We have the 170bhp 2.0tdi estate. They are huge inside which is why we bought it. Loads of legroom in the back, good spec leather, heated memory seats in the front, heated screen.

Not the greatest handling, but as a practical car works well.

I think you can tweak it to the same output as the R36 - it is the same engine and running gear I am led to believe. Upping it to 300hp would make it more of a Q car!
